Moody Blues

Last month The Moody Blues were in Indy and my sweetie took me to see them.  It was a wonderful concert and I want to do it again!  Here is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums of all time:

Enjoy and hope your new year is all you want it to be.

    1. I totally love their first 7 albums, most of which isn't played on the radio anymore, but some of it was. :)

  2. The Moodies rock and are too good for the damned rock & roll hall of fame. Real Moodies fans will be gathering in March for a 5 day Caribbean cruise with the band. See moodiescruise.com. It's almost sold out.

    1. Obviously the rock and roll hall of fame is more about money and less about talent. There are bands in the hall that I think suck and have little talent at all. Now the Moody Blues, they are a quality band bursting with talent and poetry and so of course they aren't in the hall. That is a complement to them actually if you want my opinion. Melanie is another artist that isn't in the hall and she's really great too. So fuck the rock and roll hall of fame--they stand merely for commercialism, not quality.

  5. I liked some of the Moody Blues' songs, but whenever I'd hear several of their songs in a row, they'd all start sounding the same. JMHO.

But they're definitely very talented. I had no idea they were still together. More power to 'em.

  6. The Moody Blues are still awesome! I had a chance to see them a few times when they were younger & it was wonderous. Such music! If I had a chance to see them now I would do it again.
